Tankceu Planners’ Meeting of 8 June 2024 in Copenhagen (DK)
65 Planners and operational managers meet in the Danish iconic Skt. Petri hotel, originally the first storehouse to open its doors in Copenhagen. This centrally located hotel offers the ideal setting for this annual Tankceu event. The participants are welcomed by the Board members and informed about the updated Tankceu website and Tankceu meetings that took place in the previous year.
Presentations are given about developments at several member companies. After the morning coffee break the chemical and foodgrade divisions are divided over two meeting rooms, where discussions about actual topics with which the planning is confronted, take place. Also both groups split up in smaller groups to speak about how cooperation between them can be increased and improved.
Also this year a Tankceu trophy is handed out; as always the choice has been a tough one for the Tankceu Board, but in the end the decision fell on Eurobulk. Eurobulk is one of the “founding fathers” of Tankceu Food, created in 2001. In all the following years at meetings Eurobulk has been and is a constant factor on all levels and from several generations (father, children, grandchildren 😉👍). Motivation, involvement and presence are recurring keywords in their membership.
After the meeting a guided walk was planned, that would not have gone ahead, if it would have been up to the weather gods. However, most of the planners themselves insisted on pursuing with the walk. ….And arrived wet, but with a healthy appetite and thirst, at the meeting restaurant Brdr Price Rosenborggade, where a nice evening was spent with each other.
